EPET proceeds to massive withdrawal of trout smoker from the market

In the extension of the recall of trout smokers products, the EPT progresses after the two previous recalls it had notified.

The EPET made known that the producer of this type is proceeding with the extension of recall to all products of the smoked trout it has.

In particular, it is reported that: Following on from 10.06.2026 and 15.06.2026, recalling the relevant Press Releases of the E.F.E.T., concerning food with the data: "Campnist Marined Trophy Karpenisis", dated consumption up to 01/09/2026 and "Capnist Petrola Karpenisisiou" (filet), with a consumption date up to 14/08/2026, the Regional Directorate of Western Greece of the E.F.E.T. in the context of related controls, was informed by the producer "G. PANAGIOTOPOULOS I. BAKATSIS S.O., based at 13th km Karpenisios-Proysou, KAPENISI, that on its own initiative extends the withdrawal to all smoked trout products, i.e.: "Kapnistopoulos Marined Petronistopoulos", "Kapnististististopoulos" (Kapist Marinaristopoulos, "Karpenissisios"), "Kapsiou" and "Kaprostopoulos").
