The arrest of a 23-year-old for drug trafficking in New Philadelphia proceeded on June 12 police officers of the Sub-Directorate of DEA and Investigation of Northeastern Attica Crimes.

At his expense a case-file was formed by the New Philadelphia Crimes and Detection Department - New Bronze Age for violations of drug and flare law.

As it became known by ELAS, the case was revealed after taking advantage of information about the action of a drug trafficker in the Greater New Philadelphia area, resulting in the defendant being identified and his criminal activity certified.

In particular, as emerged from the prior investigation of the Police, the 23-year-old used as a "kawaja", apartment in the Metamorphosis area, while for drug trafficking, he used a vehicle, which he had hired from a car rental company.

Investigations were followed in the apartment he used as a drug storage site, as well as inside the vehicle, where one kilo and 778.61 grams of raw cannabis were found and seized, 70.67 grams of processed cannabis (socolat), a small amount of cocaine, an electronic precision scales, a hand Bengal and a cash amount of 4,120 euros. At the same time the vehicle allegedly used for drug trafficking was seized.

The arrest was taken to the competent prosecutor.
