A car accident with a 10-year-old child occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Eucardia Thessaloniki, at the confluence of Poseidon and Egnatia.
The child reportedly moved on his bike to the area where he resides, when under undisclosed conditions so far he was lured by a passing IX car during his crossing by an intersection on a downhill road.
From the conflict the 10-year-old suffered head injuries, while immediately at the point he rushed an EKAB ambulance. The rescuers received the child and transferred him to Papageorgiou hospital to provide the necessary medical care.
According to the competent authorities' information, minor injury is considered to be light, as the vehicle driver allegedly was moving at a low speed at the time of the accident.
The exact causes and circumstances under which the drift occurred shall be investigated by the competent authorities.
