Iran is considering signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the US by the presidents of the two countries, Donald Trump and Masud Pezesbian, during a meeting scheduled for the end of the week in Switzerland.
"So far, our plans for the meeting," scheduled for Friday in Switzerland, "have not changed" and "as far as the signing of the MoU is concerned, one of the ideas is to be made by the presidents of the two countries, which is being considered," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmay Bagai today.
Earlier, Tehran had announced that the text of the agreement would be signed by its chief negotiator and president of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bayer Galibaf, and U.S. vice president Jay Di Vance.
