A missile attack was underway in the early morning hours in Kiev, according to reporters from the French Agency located in the Ukrainian capital. Residents rushed to the shelters after the alarm was triggered for a Russian air raid, while explosions were heard in the city.
According to French Agency journalists' reports, shortly after the air raid alarm was triggered the sound of a rocket engine over Kiev was heard.
At least two powerful explosions followed, while residents of the city left the places where they were and headed to the shelters seeking security.
