Pack of 20 dogs upsets areas of Thessaloniki, "we are afraid to circulate," they say residents

Resurrection of the inhabitants of the areas of Thessaloniki such as Pylaia, Toumba and Kalamaria, has caused a pack of about 20 dogs circulating on the streets.

The group of dogs usually moves evening hours with residents in those areas saying they have difficulty circulating, as there have been incidents that the pack hunted and attacked people.

According to ERT, in the past the municipality of Thessaloniki had come into contact with the municipality of Kalamaria and the municipality of Pylaia-Hortiatis to try to "break" the herd, to make some sterilizations, and to move away, but the dogs return to the area again.

Residents who declare indignant, gather signatures calling for more immediate measures for their safety.
