Normally on the TV air of OREN was found Thursday morning Mina Karamitrou after the accident she had, yesterday, Wednesday when an air conditioner unit exploded resulting in the shock wave dragging her away and injuring her.

"What I saw yesterday. .. The air conditioner explodes, Mina goes. .. If you were a little further there, thank God. A fracture in one hand and the other," said Nikos Stravelakis' co-host.

"We got up, wiped, fine and we'll raise our hands in a month," Mina Karamitrou, who wore a splint on her left hand, said.

Nikos Stravelakis even wanted to tease her by putting the song "Hands High" by Michalis Hatzigiannis.

The accident for the journalist occurred at noon on Wednesday when an external air conditioning unit exploded at OPEN resulting in Mina Karamitrou being transferred to METROPOLITAN hospital.

Specifically, the journalist was in the courtyard of OPEN, shortly after the end of her show with Nikos Stravelakis, taking care of some kittens who are in a small house.

A small fire worried her about animal safety and rushed to see what was going on. Then, probably a spark caused an explosion in the air conditioner unit resulting in Mina Karamitr being swept away by the shock wave of the explosion and receiving scraps of metal that injured her.

Channel staff and all those on the site at that time rushed to help her and suppress the fire, while an ambulance was called in to transport the presenter to the hospital.

According to the doctors who took her, OREN's reporter brought a hand injury and a leg injury as well as abrasions. In communication that THEMA had with the station it became known that the journalist "broken her wrist from the fall caused by the shock wave, while bringing abrasions to her feet".
