The lawyer of the family Plakias, Leonidas Koumouras, was critical of Zoe Konstantopoulou on the occasion of what took place during the trial for the tragedy of the Tempes.

Mr. Koumbouras, speaking on the radio station of Thessaloniki Status FM 107.7 described the tension between family of Vlachos and the president of the Freedom Sailor, noting that it gave him a particularly negative impression that Mrs Konstantopoulou ‘derogatory’ and against a colleague of the lawyer, which caused even greater reactions from present relatives.

He argued that the main problem in the process is its continued intervention in matters which, according to him, are not related to the subject-matter of the trial. As he said, "all colleagues and the overwhelming mass of relatives want the process to proceed," but this is not because Mrs. Constantopoulou "is constantly placed on irrelevant issues or political issues".

She made special reference to her long speeches, saying features that "legal placement takes place within a minute or two, at least three", while she "talks two hours and talks about irrelevant issues".

According to Mr Kubura, this attitude creates delays, causes dissatisfaction with the relatives of the victims and makes the work of lawyers involved in the trial difficult. "There is a major reaction from all colleagues", said features.

At the same time, she argued that the president of the Freedom Sailor appears in the process in a double capacity, as a lawyer and as a political party leader. "She must manage this ingenuity and allow the process to continue," she said, adding that "she is not in the House, she is in a criminal court.".

Referring to information that Mrs Konstantopoulou devoted much of her placement to issues such as OPEKEPE, Mr. Koumouras noted that such issues are not linked to the substance of the trial and stressed that the seat has the necessary procedural tools to restore the debate to the subject of the procedure.

The conditions in the room are now comfortable
The lawyer of the Plakias family also acknowledged that the circumstances of the trial have improved significantly in relation to the first meetings.

As he said, the hall has been reformed and is now very spacious and comfortable for those attending the process. Despite the fact that there is sufficient room for relatives, lawyers and citizens, he said that the presence of the world is smaller than one would expect for such an important case.
