Cannabis plantations with 336 trees in a forest area of Corinth was located by police officers. A case-file was formed while the illegal asset benefit from the cultivation of rosemary and the trafficking of cannabis ranged from 336,000 to 504,000 euros.
For the seizure and eradication of deciduous trees, a police operation was organized and implemented, by the police of the Narcotics Division of the Ministry of Narcotics and Criminal Investigation of Fathers.
In particular, the police found organized plantations, where 336 hemp trees were cultivated, in a specially designed space, divided into two levels, which were connected to each other by an improvised path, while natural cover was provided to the plantation by existing dense forest vegetation.
The trees at the stage of development were watered with a tire starting from an improvised water tank, while within the plantation the growers had erected an improvised scene, which operated as a place of residence and storage of the plantation.
Police officers from the Narcotics Division of the Department of Criminal Investigation and Investigation of Father Crimes found and seized in the plantation:
2 kg and 200 grams of hemp (intentionally hidden in shrub vegetation)
2 security cameras
1 cell phone,
1 helmet,
2000 LEK,
types of living, (water, food, cooking utensils),
tools (values, shovels),
packages with fertilizer and pesticides and documents.
Harvesting from tree cultivation would reach about 168 kg of cannabis, while the illegal asset benefit from the cultivation of rosemary and the trafficking of cannabis ranges from 336,000 to 504,000 euros.
The items were collected as evidence and will be sent from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of the Corinth Police Directorate to the Criminal Investigation Directorate for laboratory tests. A criminal record was formed, against an alien man, as well as unknown perpetrators, sought, for highly distinguished cases of drug trafficking, in the form of cultivation of cannabis denstrolls and criminal organization.
