A message of life was sent by the family of a 42-year-old photographer in Crete who was injured in a car accident, through the brave decision to proceed with organ donation.
The heart was picked up by the team of the Onassis Hospital, the liver and a kidney from the Hippocratic Hospital of Thessaloniki, the other kidney from Evangelismism and the corneas from the PAGNI team, according to cretalive.gr.
42-year-old Costas was hospitalized since last Wednesday in critical condition, as he was lured by a vehicle to the contribution of the National Resistance with Papandreou in Heraklion.
According to the same information, the 42-year-old was with his son, whom he accompanied to extracurricular activity when the car accident took place.
The 42-year-old was preparing to cross the street, after leaving his son, when he was lured by a vehicle that was reportedly driven by a man without a license and security and abandoned him.
