A traffic accident involving a two-cycle and a bicycle occurred just before 15:00 in the afternoon of Thursday in Ioannina, in the area of Molos, on Dionysios Filosophos road.
The accident occurred when, under conditions investigated, the young engine driver, about 19 years of age, reportedly touched the bicycle driving a 44 - year - old. The driver of the two-wheel drive was then diverted from his course and fell on a parked vehicle, resulting in serious injury.
At the point he immediately rushed an EMCDDA ambulance, which picked up the injured and left for the hospital with the escort of a police force, in order to ensure the swiftest possible transfer.
According to reports, the 44-year-old cyclist was eventually taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons, without fortunately bringing serious injury.
