The incident with the Ukrainian sea drone in Lefkada was at the Prime Minister's meeting Kyriakos Mitsotakis President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held in Brussels before the start of the European Council.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the war in Ukraine, with the Prime Minister repeating Greece's firm support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis also stressed the need to avoid the diffusion of operational activities beyond the war zone, with reference to the specific incident in Lefkada.
The table also found the prospects for strengthening the Greek–Ukraine defence cooperation in the context of broader developments in European security.
