American President Donald Trump said today that the U.S. expects "full ceasefire on all fronts", including Lebanon.
"The United States is committed to peace and we encourage everyone in the Middle East to meet their commitments to allow our negotiations to evolve smoothly," Trump said in an posting to Truth Social, the day after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Washington and Tehran to end the war.
"We expect a complete ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, Hezbollah and Israel," he stressed.
In a previous post, Donald Trump said the agreement with Iran, which his opponents consider too favourable for Tehran, is a "win" for the United States.
