The reaction of Dimitris Giannakopoulos to Juancho Ernangometh's statements about his future to Panathinaikos AKTOR caused a feeling. The Spanish forward, speaking in the margin of Stoiximan 22oz Elite Basketball Tournament, stressed that he feels the club as his home and that he is happy in Greece, with the strong man of the "green" CEE responding through a symbolic story on social media.
The Stoiximan 22oz Elite Basketball Tournament was held in Glyfada, with the participation of many well-known Greek basketball personalities. As part of the event a charity match was also held in favour of the club "Floga", from which 7,400 euros were collected through the players' appropriate shots.
Juancho Ernangometh gave the "present" to the event and talked about a number of topics, from summer preparation to his future to Panathinaikos AKTOR.

Initially, the Spanish forward referred to the event, saying: "I can't play right now, but we're here. We were in Mykonos last season, it's an excellent tournament. They have good teams, quality players, with several of them we play in the Greek league. Some are veterans, everyone's trying to win, so it's competitive. We will be with the children and have fun.".
He then spoke of the importance of the work done during the summer.
"It has huge significance. So you prepare for the next season, so prepare your body, prepare your mind. I think it's very important for next season's approach, so you become a better player. In the NBA, summers are longer and you want to improve. No matter your age, you want to be hungry and be better.".
