Delightful was Jean Montero in the first ACB final between Valencia and Barcelona. Despite the defeat of Pedro Martinez's team, 22-year-old guard led his club's effort, however he failed to get the victory in the end.

He completed the match by scoring 24 points (5/11 two-points, 2/6 threes, 8/9 shots), 5 rebounds and 7 assists, being infallible in 33 minutes of attendance, even gathering 29 points in the rating system.

Although it didn't start well in the race, having just two points in the first quarter, Montero... charged from the second period, achieving decisive baskets that kept Valencia in the race.

In the extension all of Martinez appeared to be left by forces and Chavi Pasocyal's team celebrated the victory and break.

Barcelona made 1–0 in the finals and now has the seat advantage in its "hands", ahead of continuity.
