The Thessaloniki Metro is coming back to normal from Saturday 20 June tomorrow.
After 21 days, passengers will be able to use the main line again, which connects the New Railway Station to New Switzerland from Monday to Sunday, from 05:15 to 23:00.
At the same time, according to the relevant communication, for card holders with an active package of routes for the period from 29 May to 19 June, during which the line was put out of passenger service due to checks and tests to integrate the extension to Kalamaria, provision is made for the restoration of their balance.
Beneficiaries may be addressed from Saturday 20/6 to publications of specific stations — 'New Railway Station', 'Venizelou', 'Saint Sophia', '25 March' and 'New Switzerland' — in order to re-charge their cards with the corresponding value for the days when they could not be used. The opening hours of the publications are daily from 07:00 to 19:00.
The procedure concerns exclusively personified cards holders with active 30, 90 or 180 day schedules, who should carry their card with them to complete the process.
