At a speed of 176 km, instead of the maximum permissible limit of 110, a 64-year-old driver was located, on the Athens-Euzon highway, at the height of the Kilkis Polycastros.
Kilkis Traffic Police officers, who performed last night's checks, recorded his speed on radar and arrested him for dangerous driving.
As quoted in a post by the General Regional Police Directorate of Central Macedonia on social media, traffic controls continue with the aim of preventing dangerous offences and strengthening road safety.
