A separate act of solidarity took place in Thessaloniki, where citizens responded to the call for the financial support of the car workshop owner who had been completely destroyed by fire.
The initiative was implemented through exceptional solidarity in the Apollo cinema, in order to raise money to strengthen people who saw their professional activity perish in flames.
According to film posts, the amount collected reached EUR 7.699, which will be made available to support the owner and the people affected by the destructive fire.
The film leaders thanked those who participated in Initiative, highlighting the great response of the world.
As they reported features in their posting, "we proved yesterday that when a man falls, there are hundreds to lift him up.".
Whole suspension
"We don't know if there are enough words to describe what we experienced yesterday.
It all began with an idea to give a little help that eventually turned into a huge hug by hundreds of people.
Thanks to all of you, €7,699 was collected to strengthen the people who lost their crew in the fire.
We thank every man who bought a ticket, every man who passed through Apollo, every man who left something in the aid box and every man who helped spread this effort.
We thank our partners and the businesses in the neighborhood who stood by us in this effort.
Eat Shut up, Juicy Rita, Cava Jaridis, Lays you are wonderful!
And a special thank you to Apollocus' staff. To the children who ran nonstop for hours, who served by smiling in an inconceivable turnout, who did not have time to sit down for five minutes and who gave all their energy.
Many of you have asked for it and for this financial support box will remain in the cinema for a few more days for those who wish to contribute.
Yesterday we proved that when a man falls, there are hundreds to lift him
We have each other. And this is much bigger than we can fit into a screen.
THANK YOU
Apollo's family".
