In the arrest of three young Roma for "loose" frauds 50,000 euros in Thermopylae and Zelly police officers went to Fthiotida.
The crooks contacted their victims by phone and convinced them that their kitchen is in serious trouble and is in danger of being caught in flames. They were told to make all the money out of their homes and leave at a certain point, according to tvstar. gr.
According to the same sources, the three obtained 35,000 euros from the woman in Thermopylae and 15,000 euros from two victims in Zeli.
The victims informed ELAS and the police identified the perpetrators, while they tracked them to Agios Konstantinos and arrested them.
The three were taken to the Lamia courthouse and took a deadline to apologize Monday (22/6).
