PAOK is now in the final line for the selection of his new coach and, apparently, the decision taken does not concern Marino Pusic.

The 55-year-old Dutch-Croat technician was for a long time the great favourite for the succession of Razvan Lucescu. His case had worked over time, contacts had been made and his file had been at the table of the two-headed people for months.

However, after the divorce with Lucescu was finalized, the data varied.

In recent times Leo Matos and Andre Vieirania, now having a leading role in the new mode of operation of the FC, were methodically turned to a different coach case, which they worked away from the spotlight.

The athletic director and the technical director of PAOK have been in constant contact with their chosen person for about three weeks, while continuing all necessary assessments and discussions.

The recommendation was submitted to the Savvidis family and was accepted, in a process that reflects the new organizational structure that is formed at PAOK FC, with greater participation of the executives who have undertaken the competition planning.

Only the last formal procedures left before the official announcements.

The new coach's name is still guarded as a ceremonial secret, which has further intensified the agony and anticipation around the next day of the Bicephalos.

Apart from a shocking unexpected, PAOK will announce within the next few hours the man who will succeed Razvan Lucescu and undertake to lead the team into the new era.
