Increases in doctors, nurses and educators are included in the five iconic proposals of the Greek Left Coalition, as stressed in a video by the party's spokesperson, Godeni Koufonikolakou.

"For whom? For doctors and nurses who fight daily the great battle for our health, in adverse conditions, without staff, with exhausting hours. For those who support us in the most difficult times ours and our loved ones. For teachers who have the great pedagogical mission to help our children perceive the world, participate in it and prepare for a responsible life in a society of equality and solidarity," noted Mrs. Koufonikolakou.

Reasoning this choice, "Why? Because the health systemand education in our country is deeply wounded. Health structures in a state of emergency due to lack of staff and schools in state of tension and chaos due to deep devaluation," remarked EL.A.S. spokesperson, concluding that "because this government management betrays its desire to dismantle any public context, leaving room for private interests to take control with private health systems and private schools. We will not allow it."

"What do we do? With a holistic approach including other proposals: We strengthen the public health system and public school. We recognize the work of the professionals who do for us the transcendence. We are upgrading the quality of health and education services provided to citizens," he concluded.
