Trump is going to Camp David this weekend, which is not his custom. This is the only second time since he returned to the White House to visit the country presidential residence.
A White House official said that during his stay there he would have various "political meetings". His family will follow him to Camp David for this weekend that includes Father's Day, Sunday.
The last time Trump visited Camp David, Maryland, was in June 2025, when he met there with military officials and advisors on foreign policy issues and discussed the situation in Iran, the Gaza war, and protests against immigration police in California. A planned cabinet meeting at Camp David, in May, was finally held at the White House because the weather service predicted bad weather in the area.
