Israel's ambassador to the US has announced tonight that his country is committed to keeping the ceasefire in Lebanon, provided that it will also be respected by the pro-Iran organisation Hezbollah.
"Israel remains firmly committed to an immediate ceasefire," Ambassador Yehiel Leiter wrote on his account on the X platform.
"If Hezbollah honors the deal and ceases hostilities, this will be answered with calm," he added.
