In Korydallou prisons Alexander Giotopoulos returned again after the decision to release him was revoked.

He currently remains in Korydallos, but must be presented before the Attorney of Appeals Piraeus. The prosecutor of the Korydallus prisons spoke with him in order to decide whether to stay at Korydallus tonight or whether to be transferred to GADA. They reportedly decided to transfer Yotopoulos to the General Police Directorate of Athens on Alexandra Avenue from where he will be transferred tomorrow to the Attorney of Appeals Piraeus.

Sentenced to 17 times for life as leader of the 17N terrorist organization that had been released on 21 May, after the decision to revoke, he collected his luggage from his house in Byron. He boarded a taxi and returned to prison with a strong police force. Shortly thereafter he entered a police car which carried him to Korydallus and then to GADA.

Earlier, the Fifth Criminal Department of the Supreme Court, revoked the decree of the court of the Court of Appeal of Piraeus which recently decided to release Alexander Yotopoulos and this meant his immediate return to Korydallos prisons.

The recently released Alexander Yotopoulos had been sentenced to 17 times life on the criminal activity of the terrorist organization 17N.
