FIFA proposed an opening match for a new K15 football festival, with rival teams Palestine and Israel.
This event will take place next September in the US with the participation of all 211 member federations, including Russia.
The initiative for this match belongs to FIFA President Gianni Ifanino, who according to Athletic sees it as a first-rate opportunity to bridge the gap between the two federations.
We remember that at the annual conference held, Palestinian President Jibril Rajub refused to participate in photography with his counterparts protesting the genocide in his country.
The Israeli federation has stated that it is open to this game, while the Palestinian side has not commented on the proposal.
