COSMOTE TELEKOM gave a dynamic "present" in international festival of technology and entrepreneurship Panathīnea 2026, which brought together leading investors, pioneering creators and ambitious startup ecosystems from every corner of the planet. A point of interest was the COSMOTE TELEKOM Booth, in which guests had the opportunity to come into direct contact with the group COSMOTE TELEKOM IT Innovation Center, but also get to know Business Cloud services with GPU-as-a-Service of the B2B team of the company.
Since its inception in 2016, the COSMOTE TELEKOM IT Innovation Center has been implementing innovative projects and systematically exploring new and emerging technologies and cutting-edge sectors in collaboration with the Greek startup ecosystem, such as Data & AI, Cybersecurity, Robotics and Virtual (VR) and enhanced (AR) reality technologies, becoming an ideal environment for testing innovative ideas.
In Panathönea 2026, COSMOTE TELEKOM IT Innovation Center presented its actions, such as pilot projects and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for the faster adoption of innovative solutions, as well as close cooperation with startups, leading universities and research centres. At the same time, active participation in European funded projects to test innovative technologies, as well as its role in organising actions and programmes that promote cooperation and foster a strong entrepreneurial mentality within organisations, was highlighted. The public contacted innovative solutions and advanced applications of robotic and business innovation, and also interacted with the robotic dog Spot. In addition, members of the COSMOTE TELEKOM IT Innovation Center team actively participated in side events of the event.
Mr. Yannis Vitzelios, Chief Information Technology Officer of OTE Group, stated: "Panathānea 2026 proved in practice that the key to innovation is cooperation. The same applies to Greek startups and young professionals, to whom we open the way to star in the international digital scene."
The Booth was presented by COSMOTE TELEKOM Group B2B services Business Cloud with GPU-as-a-Service, which are provided in the company's new Data Center infrastructure. These services allow businesses, research institutions and public bodies to develop and train AI models, process large volumes of data and create new digital services, without the need to invest in their own high computing infrastructure. All this, in an environment that meets the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance of the European Union. In addition, DigitalMarketing4U and Business Messaging Packs solutions were presented.
Finally, as a Telecom Partner of the event, COSMOTE TELEKOM secured the seamless digital connectivity and high speeds required for the festival, with the company's top new generation networks.
Panathīnea is an international, non-profit innovation platform based in Athens, born to be the point of intersection between technology, entrepreneurship and culture. They function as a living core where global investment capital meets creative intelligence, aiming at birthing ideas and partnerships that shape the future.
