"I paint everything that touches me, everything I feel around life, just like that. Golden horsemen who now live only in our dream, women young or couples in love. .. I like the light that caress the faces. What a poetry a body bathed in! I like the colors, the naked bodies, the fabrics, the red room, the story of an escaped man, the facts the small, the trivial..." explained, in almost poetic fashion, Alekos Fasianos.

With this particular visual world he will have the opportunity to contact the public in Report with the title ‘Alekos Pheasian. Under the summer sun“, which will open its gates on 26 June, in its Annex National Gallery THE Corfu.
The exhibition, edited by Efis Agathonikos, brings together 46 works by the artist, oils, acrylics and engravings, offering a representative picture of his creative course.
The works come from the collection of the National Gallery, the Alekos Fasianos Museum and private collections, covering nearly six decades of artistic production.
Through them the consistency and evolutionary course of the artist, as well as his special ability to transform the "small, trivial" events of life into images full of life and intensity.
