U.S. President Donald Trump even surprised his close associates by posting on social media, in which he said an agreement had been reached with Iran, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

During the same report, Trump's post on the Truth Social platform Sunday, where he wrote that "the agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran has now been completed", was published after digitally signing the relevant document to the White House shortly after 5 p.m. local time.

However, even top partners of the American president were surprised by his posts on the deal, as they felt the negotiations were still ongoing, the newspaper reports.

For the record, in the White House were Sunday afternoon high government officials and Republican leaders, including Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson. In the White House was also the President of Poland Carol Navrotsky.

The text of the Agreement, which allegedly has an area of one and a half pages, has not been published. During an interview Press yesterday, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding and that he is not yet aware of all the details of the agreement.

The Wall Street Journal also reports that Trump signed the deal while chatting phonely with journalists, allies and President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, as well as while preparing to attend the UFC games scheduled to take place on the White House turf in honor of his 80th birthday that day.
