The gynaecicide that occurred yesterday (15/06) in Drama has shocked theGreek Police,as Antigone stabbed to death by her husband was a police officer, as was the perpetrator and suicide.
More specifically, yesterday the police received a call from the underage son of the family who asked ELAS to rush to the point because his mother is heavily injured in the basement of the house.
Shocked police officers saw their colleague, Antigone Stabbed at least eight times in her bed. Soon after the police found her husband, Thomas, dead and killed his wife, he committed suicide in his car with his service gun.
Although the couple has reportedly been separated in recent times, people from their environment say they were giving the impression that they were trying to manage the situation in calm.
As they say, the last time they saw Antigone and Thomas together was Last Sunday. They walked side by sideTrying to find a solution for the next day of their lives.
At the same time, persons from Thomas's professional and social circle describe a man highly overwhelmed psychologically in recent times. Nevertheless, no one believed that it could reach such an unthinkable act.
