Rise of the new far-right party "National Future" presents the latest polls on the intention to vote in Italy. More specifically, according to the poll of Swg, which was held on behalf of the private channel La7, General Roberto Vanachi's National Future (the founding conference of which took place last weekend) brings together 5.3% of the Italians' voting intention.
The main programming positions of this new party include mass deportations of irregular immigrants, the limitation of the rights of many immigrants who have a work permit, the abolition of the offence of femaleicide and the view that members of the LGBTI+ community should not enjoy any special legal protection. At this stage, General Vanachi's new party chose not to support the government of Rome.
As far as conservative coalition parties are concerned, Prime Minister Georgia Meloni's "Brothers of Italy" remain the country's first political force, with 27.9%. "Forza Italia" chaired by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is selected by 7.2% of respondents and Mateo Salvini's Lega (from which many executives of the National Future come) slips to 5.3%.
As for the opposition, first with a difference in voting intention is again the Democratic Party led by Ellie Sline and 22.1%. Former Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte's "Five Stars" are located at 13.3%, while the Italian Left and Ecologists "convince" 6.5% of the statistical sample.
The following are the small centrist parties "Action" (Azione) with 3.1% and "Living Italy" by former Prime Minister Mateo Redsi with a 2.4% rate. The radicals of the "More Europe" party ensure 1.6% of the vote intention.
