The Agency for Welfare and Social Solidarity (OPECA) announced the initiation of the application procedure for the money aid programme to three-and-a-half mothers, as well as to three-year-old and many young single-parent fathers.

The applications will be made electronically from Monday 15 June 2026 at 15:00, until Wednesday 15 July 2026 at 23:59, via its special platform OPECA.

The programme provides for financial aid of EUR 700 for 2,300 three-year-old or three-year single-parent fathers and EUR 1,000 for 600 multi-year mothers or multi-year single-parent fathers.

For the first time this year, three-year or multi-year single-parent fathers who meet the criteria for participation are included.

Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries are the direct beneficiaries of LAE/OPEKA benefits, including e-EFKA insured persons or pensioners (OGAs), pensioners of the Uninsured Overage Account, employees or pensioners of former OPEKA employees and employees of the E-EFKA who come from the OGA, listed on the LAE Register of Beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries must have three or more children, who are also beneficiaries of LAE/OPEC benefits with active insurance capacity through the parent. Children must be single and unemployed, under the age of 18, with an extension of up to 19 years for secondary education students and up to 24 years for students of higher or higher education institutions, students of SAEKs and participants in the "Metal Year – Class of Learning" program of the EPALs. Children with disabilities ≥ 50% are also included. Age is calculated as 31 December 2026.

In the event of overcompensation, the final beneficiaries will be designated by electronic draw, ensuring a fair distribution of available positions.
