The identification and rescue of 40 foreigners went on today 16/6, after an organized operation in the sea area south of Crete.
The operation was set up under the full coordination of the Single Centre for the Coordination of Research and Rescue (ECSED). The migratory boat was spotted at a distance of 36 nautical miles south of the Good Ports, to a point where winds of western intensity addresses were drowning 3 Beaufort.
In the area they immediately rushed a Port Corps patrol vessel (PLS) as well as a Frontex force vessel, which safely collected all occupants.
