The trial for the train accident in Temby entered the stage of submitting requests from the advocates for support of the charge after the legalisation process was completed.
It is recalled that the court decided today to accept statements by relatives of victims, injured persons, Greek public authorities, which is directed only against the accused three station chiefs and then the head of the Larissa Inspection Department of the Traffic Support Service (railways) of Central and South Greece, and statements on the offence of violating duty.
The court expelled the Bar Associations and the association Panhellenic Association of Personal Attractions according to the Athenian News Agency.
The first requests made today concerned the transmission of the proceedings to the Supreme Court inquisitor investigating the case of former Minister of Transport Mr. Costas Achilles Karamanlis for the misdemeanor of the breach of duty in the case of Tempes and the presentation of the communication document between the former Minister of Transport Mr. Costas Kyranakis and the Legal Council of the State for the performance of the Greek State.
The Advocate General proposed to reject both requests, while the court's decision is expected tomorrow.
Before the conclusion of today's meeting, the representative of the Legal Council of the State, who is present for the Greek State, said that there was no need in the statement by the public while stressing that they did not receive "no mandate from a minister’, except by the President of the Legal Council of the State to declare the performance.
