The Chief of the General Staff of the Lebanese Armed Forces General Rodolphe Haykal, from yesterday, Monday 15th to tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th, is making an official visit to Greece, at the invitation of the Chief of the General Staff of National Defence (GENTHA) General Demetrius Hopi.
Today, Tuesday, June 16 the chief of the General Staff of the Lebanese Armed Forces deposited a wreath at the Unknown Soldier's Monument and was subsequently accepted by the Chief of Staff at the "Papagos" Camp.

Following the official reception, a meeting between the two leaders followed, during which strategic issues were discussed, current geopolitical developments at regional and international level as well as ways of strengthening ties and bilateral cooperation.
Information was then provided where issues of defence policy and activities of the OHIM were presented.
