Prince George, the eldest son of the Prince of Wales and successor to the William throne, will begin classes in September at the renowned collegeof Eton, near Windsor Tower, where his father studied before him, announced Kensington Palace today.
The 12-year-old prince, who will be made in turn the successor to the throne, when his father takes office after his grandfather Charles, will join this boys' boarding school, where his uncle also went, Prince Harry, and many other members of the royal family, against a cost of around EUR 72,800 a year.

At the famous Eaton educational institution 20 former and British premiers have attended classes, including David Cameron and Boris Johnson, even authors Ian Fleming and George Orwell.
"Kensington Palace can confirm that Prince George will be studying at Eaton College since September," said a spokesperson in an announcement.
This school for children aged 13–18, founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, is located 40 km west of London. As it is considered an elite school, it largely maintains its traditions, including that of a strawberry-like uniform and welcomes nearly 1,350 students every year, according to its website.
The boarding school is located only a few kilometers from the home of George's parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, residing with their family in Forest Lodge, Windsor. It has not been clarified whether or not the young prince will stay within Eton.
George, who will turn 13 next year, is second in the succession series to the British throne. From Montessori kindergarten to Lambrook's famous private school, near Windsor, where his primary, educational institutions and costs were always extensively commented on by the newspapers.
