In the dislocation of a criminal organization active in the trafficking of cocaine in areas of Attica the police advanced. For the case, 9 members of the organization were arrested among whom the 39-year-old leader and the illegal benefit It amounts to more than 900,000 euros.
According to the police investigation, the organization had developed intense activity at least since December 2025, having a strict hierarchical structure with chief and three deputy chiefs. Members are reported to have taken increased counter-monitoring measures, using encrypted communication applications, coded terminology, and frequent phone connection changes.
The 39-year-old alleged leader reportedly had full control of the organization's action, defining the strategy and giving orders to the deputy chiefs, who in turn coordinated the remaining members and drug trafficking to buyers.
Of the investigations carried out, 827.1 grams of cocaine, small amount of cannabis, three pistols, war rifle magazine, 119 cartridges, seven electronic precision scales, three radios, a number of mobile phones, as well as a bat, pepper spray and three knives were seized. In addition, five vehicles used for drug trafficking were seized, as well as 14,505 euros and $470 US dollars. EL.A. It estimates that the illegal economic benefit obtained by the criminal organisation from its action exceeds EUR 900,000.
During investigations into houses and storage areas used as "cavajas" by the members of the circuit, a total of nine people were arrested, aged 24 to 49, including the 39-year-old alleged leader of the organization. Police officers from the O.P.C. and E.C.A.M. participated in the operation.
At the expense of the arrested a case-file was formed for a number of offences, including the establishment of a criminal organisation, violations of drug and arms law, money laundering from criminal activities, violations of foreign law and forgery of certificates. At the same time, five more people identified and sought are included in the file.
Arrested were taken to the competent prosecutor.
