Obligations on nuclear, Lebanon and the opening of the Straits of Hormuz include the memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran, the key points of which the Israeli Channel 12 reveals.

Barack Ravid in his report notes that the issue of enriched uranium was postponed for future discussion on the final agreement, which will take place during the two months after the signing of the Understanding Memorandum.

The 12 important points of the Agreement are as follows:

Iran, the US and their allies will stop hostilities, including in Lebanon
Iran repeats its commitment not to develop or acquire nuclear weapons
US and Iran undertake to solve the issue of the removal of enriched uranium
US and Iran to discuss enrichment and nuclear needs
Iran will maintain status quo in its nuclear programme as negotiations continue
The US will lift the naval blockade, impose no new sanctions, and do not strengthen forces in the region during the negotiations.
Iran will make necessary arrangements to ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels into the Straits of Hormuz, free of charge, within 60 days.
US commits to making Iranian frozen assets available for use with the implementation of the Understanding Memorandum
If a final agreement is reached, the US will withdraw their troops within 30 days and lift all sanctions in Iran.
Any final agreement will include a plan to create a $300 billion fund for reconstruction of Iran
US will give Iran temporary exemptions from oil sales sanctions during negotiations
There will be negotiations between Iran and Oman with the participation of Gulf countries to define the "Regulations on Sailing and Maritime Services".
