With massive fire against the deleted MP, Paul Polakis and the caratization of Nikos Pappas from the position of the parliamentary representative of SYRIZA Progressive Alliance, yesterday's meeting of the Party's Parliamentary Group, which was the subject of the... constitutional review.

Only the current political current, however, did not concern the proceedings of the meeting, which were more reminiscent of ‘sealing procedures’ of SYRIZA PS on behalf of his President, Socrates Famelou, who now seems to adopt a more aggressive attitude against everything.

By giving the tone to his suggestion, Mr. Famellus put directly against Paul Polakis, saying that "I will not allow a former member of the KO to present today, who has offended our operation with public positions and for this reason was deleted by the KO, blackmail dilemmas and provoke additional crisis, calling on Members and officials to choose who to go with when we collectively decide our stance."

Famelou Front – Polakis
The aversion of the President of Syriza PS had a single clear recipient, namely Paul Polakis, who did not attend the meeting due to his removal from the parliamentary group, however, he made sure to give the tone an hour before its launch, saying in videos that he posted on social networks that "a immediate solution is required to the SYRIZA-PS". In the same context and in a leadership type of intervention, Mr. Polakis invited the MPs of SYRIZA PS to “choose with whom to go and who to leave”, stating "present" on the internal party front.

And if Paul Polakis, one of the top three executives of Syriza PS who disagree with the decision of the Central Committee to support Alexis Tsipras and ELAS, remains independent due to deletion, the removal of Nikos Pappas from the position of Parliamentary Representative of the party announced yesterday Socrates Famellus, exacerbating his attitude towards his internal party critics.

In fact, persons with knowledge of the events were passing on yesterday that Mr. Pappas called the MPs of SYRIZA PS do not give up their seats when placed from the stage of the meeting, contrary to the content of Paul Polakis' message, which had preceded it.

Nikos Pappas, however, thanked the President and executives of SYRIZA PS for the cooperation, while his attitude is now summed up in the aversion "no irreplaceable", a phrase that does not exclude the President of the party, Socrates Famelos and is expected to... specialise in the next phase.

Caramboles
The vacancy of the parliamentary representative, resulting from the Pappa caratism, was covered by a mini-reconstitution, after the duties in Parliament were undertaken by the Theophilos Xanthopoulos and Costas Barkas, while the party's spokesperson was appointed Christos Giannoulis.

And this, because the departure of Kostas Zachariades from the role of representation of the party was sealed by yesterday's announcements, although it was not a common secret that Mr. Zachariades had chosen... silence in the last few years, preparing its smooth transition from Syriza PS, to EL.A.S. At the same time, however, MPs and SYRIZA officials PS do not overlook the fact that Koumundour's divorce with Costas Zachariades was velvety and consensual, in comparison with the attitude of the head of Koumundurus to "shoot" minority executives.

However, in his post, Kostas Zachariades said that "the establishing Alexis Tsipras' party brought new data that no one can ignore. It also rearranges our space, but it can also play a decisive role in the shift of political correlations in the country," concluding: "I discussed with the President of the party about my decision not to continue with the position of spokesperson and we agreed that this is the right solution."

The 3 scenarios
Moreover, the new – and aggressive – attitude of Socrates Famellus will prove to be either durable and based on the moods of traditional members and voters of the party, who leave it massively now on a daily basis, which revives scenarios and alternatives for the leading group, but also the leading party executives.

In first version of the fate of Syriza PS, there is no way that Alexis Tsipras will finally send a call to individual executives, which means that control of the party will be mathematically taken into control of the minority (Paul Polakis, Nikos Pappas and Rena Durou), who will then have to cover the lost time, in order to come to the national elections.

The script that Alexis Tsipras partially revises his "red lines", then strengthens the main scenario for the leading team of Syriza PS, i.e. the "all Syriza PS" to cooperate in ELAS on a "great union ballot", where Socrates Famelos has repeatedly described.

This does not mean the political survival of minority persons, since for some the caratization of Nikos Pappas is more like a warning signal, about what can follow at party sanctions level.

The third scenarioHowever, in the perspective that Alexis Tsipras does not send a strong signal of cooperation to the Syriza PS side, then there is no way that the party will phase out and move, even causing moves – kamikazi, such as the resignation of Mr. Famellus from the leadership of Syriza.

Resignation that does not seem possible today, although it is referred to as a solution that some have suggested to him.
