The artist who has been connected as much as anyone else with the concerts, the voice that for decades has been flooding our summer evenings with rhythms and melodies, Vassilis Papakonstantinou, gives the potential present and this year with a music tour that will culminate on Saturday 12 September in Lycabettus Theatre.
With a view to the whole city, he will take a big dive in his huge discography and tell the public stories that passed from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation, from squares and stages to student houses, summer theaters and our personal moments.
This "Saturday Night" Vassilis will unwrap a music story of adulthood starting from "I follow you" of a love that continues as an absolute faith, the "Fear" of a generation who saw things decided "for me without me" and from the " Greetings" that are thrown as an ironic note against power, to the "Cursar" that holds something from the old, infinite imagination of freedom to end with "Before the end" with "To sleep hug".
Together in the narrative of this music story will be, mentally, and all those great creators, composers, poets and songwriters with whom he worked all these years writing gold pages in the book of Greek song.
