New rescue operation 38 migrants south of Gavdos boarding a boat were taken to Souda

In the collection of 38 foreigners on board a boat in the sea area south of Gavdos, a patrol vessel of the Greek Coast Guard Corps, as part of an operation coordinated by the Single Centre for the Coordination of Research and Rescue (ECSED) proceeded.

The 38 foreigners were transferred to the port of Souda, where the procedures envisaged by the competent authorities will be followed.
