The new Programme of the Ministry of Tourism "Tourism for All 2026-2027’ strengthens the participation of more households, widens income criteria and emphasises the lengthening of the tourist season and the development of mountain Greece.
The new phase of the programme is part of a broader strategy that treats tourism as a social asset, with emphasis on the support of the Greek family, vulnerable groups and the district.

Two phases of implementation and continuous flow of beneficiariesThe programme will be implemented in two distinct phases:
- Phase I will start immediately and will last until 30 June 2027
- Phase II will begin in early 2027 and will end on December 31, 2027
Emphasis on low demand months and mountain tourismThe strategic pillar of the programme is to strengthen tourism activity outside the high season.
In particular, 70% of the available budget goes to the months of October to April, with the aim of extending the tourist season and decongesting the summer months.
At the same time, the programme is linked to the initiative for "mountain Greece", strengthening less projected destinations and promoting a more balanced tourism development across the country.
Enlargement of income criteria for more beneficiariesMajor changes are also recorded in income limits, with the aim of broadening middle class participation:
Singles without children: from 19,000 € → 21,000 €
- Married without children: from 31,000 € → 33,000 €
- Families with children: significant increase, up to 58,000 €
This change is expected to significantly increase the number of beneficiaries by broadening the programme's social footprint.
Support for disabled persons and support for familiesFor the first time, the programme includes:
persons with disabilities (≥ 67%) regardless of income
- Families with children of disabled persons, also without income criteria
At the same time, additional aid is introduced for large families, with an additional EUR 50 for each child from the fourth and above, substantially strengthening large households.
Digital card and simplified processThe program will continue to operate through intangible digital card, with full utilization of the infrastructure of gov.gr and vouchers.gov.gr platforms.
