The fact that the economic programme of the party "Hope for Democracy" is in the works once again reiterated Maria Karystianou's close associate and lawyer, Maria Grasia, in today's interview.
"It has been repeatedly stated that there is a specific group, consisting of persons with both professional experience and cognitive background to shape positions. They work intensively, are in a very good place and their positions will be officially announced, organized and coordinated by the Movement," he said. Maria Karistianou's right hand speaking this morning in "Mega Time Society".
‘Near the ICU notices’
Asked whether the relevant announcements will take place at the Thessaloniki International Fair and whether the party will give the "present", Mrs Grasia was content to answer that, in her assessment, the program will be announced at a "time close to the TIF".
"It is an approach that has also been put in place internally, but no final decision has been taken. It will be made known shortly. I believe we will have it in time close to the ITH, but I repeat that the final decision will be made by the instruments of the Movement," he noted.
As to where the party is ideologically ranked, he noted among others: “There are people who come from all the previous, as we knew, party mechanisms, which is why the exchange of views is very fruitful. There are positions from all angles. The dialogue is much more fruitful and the solutions chosen cover all sides.".
Returning to the economic programme and the main priorities of the party, Mrs Gracia noted:
"The Movement's special aim is to protect vulnerable groups and the small and medium-sized class. Of course, it has very important positions to strengthen business, economic growth and the overall development of the economy, and it also attaches particular importance to stimulating investment. All of this is interrelated. If I have to make a priority, This is the weakest economic groups, so that there are incentives and benefits that will act as a deterrent against the economic pressure and targeting experienced daily by many Greek citizens."
‘No one can rule out self-reliance’
As far as cooperation with other parties is concerned, Mrs Gracia has even left open the possibility of self-reliance
"It has been explicitly answered by Mrs Karistianou. The position expressed is that there will be no cooperation. However, as she has pointed out, the country will not remain ungovernable. But it is good to deal with the matter wisely. It's a possibility, which we all perceive, to even exist self-reliance. No one can rule it out."
