The economic programme of the "Hope for Democracy" party, the collaborations and the women's killings that are increasing in our country, was discussed by Maria Karistianou's close associate and lawyer, Maria Grasia, in today's interview.
"We should weigh that the value of man is the same, regardless of gender, and therefore should not be discriminated against, in legislative treatment I mean, which is not justified. The value of man is the same for anyone," said Mrs Gratsia, right hand of Maria Karistianouspeaking this morning in "Mega Time Society".
"The value of man is the same for anyone regardless. We are currently dealing with these approaches, and we are in the process of weighing up these approaches that I have mentioned to you in order to choose the most appropriate solution, precisely because we are all aware of it, the value of man is the same regardless of gender. So we cannot say indiscriminately, that is, without deepening, introducing some discrimination," he continued.
Asked if the female homicide is homicide, she replied:
"Yes I told you exactly that essentially the value of man is the same regardless of gender and regardless of discrimination in general. The question I was asked, to be specific, was about the term 'womanicide' and I say that I cannot so impulsively place myself on this word because it introduces a distinction. From now on, however, on domestic violence issues, where there, of course, we have too many cases and we treat as a society a huge issue, of course, this is an autonomous chapter in order to substantially strengthen the family institution, to inform couples, or anyone who is the victim of domestic violence, about the possibilities and benefits given to him by the state either in terms of psychological support or in terms of legal assistance, which is very important. Because there are too many victims, I know that from my work, who, while undergoing domestic violence, dare not claim their rights, because they do not have the financial capacity to cover the costs of legal support. Such benefits, which form part of another part, go to the part of social policy, of course it is an independent chapter. And there are a number of positions there to provide and support on the part of the state, in order for women, or anyone who is a victim of domestic violence to be supported. And so that he can exercise his rights and, above all, not be silenced or not victimized. In other words, it is finally compatible with this situation," Mrs Gracia continued.
For the party's financial programme
"It has been repeatedly stated that there is a specific group, consisting of persons with both professional experience and cognitive background to shape positions. They work intensively, are in a very good place and their positions will be officially announced, organized and coordinated by the Movement," he said. Maria Karistianou's right hand.
‘Near the ICU notices’
Asked whether the relevant announcements will take place at the Thessaloniki International Fair and whether the party will give the "present", Mrs Grasia was content to answer that, in her assessment, the program will be announced at a "time close to the TIF".
"It is an approach that has also been put in place internally, but no final decision has been taken. It will be made known shortly. I believe we will have it in time close to the ITH, but I repeat that the final decision will be made by the instruments of the Movement," he noted.
As to where the party is ideologically ranked, he noted among others: “There are people who come from all the previous, as we knew, party mechanisms, which is why the exchange of views is very fruitful. There are positions from all angles. The dialogue is much more fruitful and the solutions chosen cover all sides.".
Returning to the economic programme and the main priorities of the party, Mrs Gracia noted:
"The Movement's special aim is to protect vulnerable groups and the small and medium-sized class. Of course, it has very important positions to strengthen business, economic growth and the overall development of the economy, and it also attaches particular importance to stimulating investment. All of this is interrelated. If I have to make a priority, This is the weakest economic groups, so that there are incentives and benefits that will act as a deterrent against the economic pressure and targeting experienced daily by many Greek citizens."
‘No one can rule out self-reliance’
As far as cooperation with other parties is concerned, Mrs Gracia has even left open the possibility of self-reliance
"It has been explicitly answered by Mrs Karistianou. The position expressed is that there will be no cooperation. However, as she has pointed out, the country will not remain ungovernable. But it is good to deal with the matter wisely. It's a possibility, which we all perceive, to even exist self-reliance. No one can rule it out."
