For the wild encounter between two students outside Royal High School in Evia, spoke the mother of one of the involved, arguing that her daughter was targeted because of her involvement with the tae kwon do.
As she said, the minor is an athlete and has been taught to use her knowledge solely for defense and not to engage in fights.
"We do tae kwon do to learn to defend ourselves, not to play punches," he said.
She also argued that it was not an isolated incident, as, as she said, two other episodes had been preceded.
"This is not the first time. There had been two more episodes," she said, adding that her daughter has no aggressive behavior towards her classmates.
"Because she is an athlete and does defend herself, she does not bully people. When people who operate as bullies at school learned this, it became what happened," he said.

Mother described the emotional charge she experienced when she saw the videos of the incident circulating on social media.
"I find the videos and see the size of abuse. Think about what happened to me. I was in shock. In worse psychological condition I do not believe I have ever been," he said.
