A robbery occurred on Tuesday night at an OPAP store in Mandra Attica, with the perpetrator being spotted and arrested shortly after by officers of the Dias team.

The incident was reportedly recorded at about 20:50 in a store located on Salamis Street. A person with his facial features covered entered the store and threatened an employee with a shock absorber, demanding money.

After taking money from the operation, the perpetrator fled. Police forces were immediately mobilized and, following searches in the wider area, officers of the DIS team detected and arrested a 20-year-old daily, who is reportedly involved in the case.

Preliminary questioning of the exact circumstances of the robbery is ongoing.
