A car accident with three injured occurred around 1:20 after midnight on the 53rd kilometre of the provincial road Redina - Ouranopolis, when two IX cars collided frontally.
According to the police, one vehicle was driving 32 years old, while the other was a 24-year-old. From the crash the two drivers were injured, as well as the 22-year-old passenger of the first vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene.
The wounded were served at Polygyros General Hospital. The 24-year-old, after first aid was provided, was discharged. The 22-year-old remains hospitalized out of danger, while the 32-year-old was then transferred to the AHEPA Hospital in Thessaloniki for further examinations. According to the first picture the police have, his life is not in danger.
The preliminary investigation of the causes and circumstances of the car accident is conducted by the Arnea Police Department.
