"One way" was described by the MP of SYRIZA, Andreas Panagiotopoulos to go to ELAS, Alexis Tsipras.
"It is a one-way street and a social requirement now, and the reappearance of Tsipras and the formation of the central alternative power pole, so in this we are clearly ready, I think we have no other solution than it and we join together there as the instruments have decided, but I too long ago have stated," he said in Parapolitan FM.
He, in fact, did not agree with the assessment that he is a paradoxical Members of one party supporting another party, saying "you say it as if it is a party or a leader whom we do not know or who now appeared. Do not forget that in '23 we were elected MPs with Alexis Tsipras, is the natural leader of this party, it is reasonable to constantly move towards there and towards the great progressive space that was our goal.".

However, he made it clear that "I will not resign as a Member of Parliament" arguing that "this is another process which also has an institutionality. The MP is not appointed, I was not appointed by Tsipras, elected by the people of Achaia and there I have a specific mandate to overcome issues and problems concerning the inhabitants of society.".
He asked, however, "neither to discuss it" to come down to the elections on a ballot other than that of the former Prime Minister's ELAS: "If so, we go to work. It is an unthinkable scenario for Syriza to descend separately and Tsipras and ELAS separately.".
