The confrontation between Helena Acrita and Aris Davarakis continued on the occasion of Case of Alexander Yotopoulos. Although the convicted captain of 17N had recently been released, he eventually returned to Corydallus prisons after the appeal from the Supreme Court of the Parliament that had ordered his release.
This development caused Helena Acroita's reaction which in recent days has publicly expressed its opposition through her Facebook account.
The post Davaraki and the song myth in comments
Yesterday journalist and songwriter Aris Davarakis posted on social media a photo of Kostis Peratikos, who was murdered in 1997 since 17 November. He even wrote among others referring to Alexander Giotopoulos: "This cold beast, Yotopoulos, sent 17 people to the grave".
In detail his post:
"This is Kostis Peratikos, the good, innocent, sweet friend of many – and mine. Home of Yotopoulos were found the "notes" for his murder - find that greatly helped convict the criminal. Kostis was the father of two very young (then) children, Michael and Peter from his marriage to childhood friend Lia Raka. This cold beast might have gotten away with it if the "notes" related to Kostis had not been found at his home.. But God loves the thief, he loves the householder.
He was caught and convicted of 17 murders in 17 life sentences. Life in Humanity Europe means 25 years in prison. Giotopoulos has served almost 24 years, which is why he rejoined until early 2027, to complete. Seventeen people sent to the grave, not serve 25 years sentence? No, it says "left." He's an old man. We are far-right and fascists those who want to get out of jail the day he fills out the 25 years that law says - and not earlier. How many families have lived the crimes of Yotopoulos? How many parents, how many minors, how many loved ones, how many friends and brothers? We're countless. And we want the legal: 25 years in prison completed. As our enlightened education says. No death penalty. Not in total life.
#25 years. Not a day less. (Elena Akrita - you will remember Leah from the then company. Three and five were her children then...".
The post was not left unanswered, as Elena Akrita intervened with her comment under the publication, triggering a new round of confrontation.
Specifically in her comment the MP of SYRIZA says:
"Ares old friend, I've lost a man I've loved since November 17, Alekos Athanasiadis. We're not discussing whether the victims' relatives hurt. That goes without saying and this unspeakable tragedy will accompany them all their lives. That's not what we're talking about here. If in a European rule of law penalties are determined by law or by the fair pain of relatives. If we accept that a prisoner should remain imprisoned as long as his victims' relatives wish, then we abolish the concept of penitentiary and return to revansism. The rule of law was created precisely to replace revenge with rules that apply to all, even to the most hated prisoners. Thanks for the hospitality and please protect me from offensive answers in my face that do not honor our common youth and our path."
"25 years Elena. Not 24 but something", Mars Davarakis replied.

And the following online songwriting followed:
- Helena Acrita.: Not even a bracelet on an 82-year-old by 25 years? Not even that.
- Aris DavarakisAnd Trump 80 is. Can I spare him if he gets convicted and goes in until he's 105? What if Netanyahu gets life tomorrow? Cry? No, no bracelet. 25 years over 365 days minus doubles
- Helena Acrita.: I don't know you
"I can't defend you after you've made your own suspension. Murdered people are being defended by this post and the 25 years undefiled. ..’, ended Mars Davarakis.
