Today (17/6) at 19:00 p.m., at the Patakis Bookshop (Academia 65, Athens), the presentation of the Book "The Dictionary of Football" by Stelios Brandelis, a special edition dedicated to the language of the fields, the platform and the game itself.
It is a work that records and highlights the rich linguistic idiom that has been formed around football, through words, expressions and terms that use fans, footballers, coaches and people of the site.
The presentation has been coordinated by journalist Tasos Commissioner, while the public will have the opportunity to meet the author in person and discuss with him the book and the unique relationship between football and language.
The "Lexico of Football" addresses all those who live and breathe about football, recording with humor, knowledge and love the words that have shaped their own special football dialect.
Because, as the motto of the publication says, "Football is words. And words are passion.".
