The new PosoKanei digital platform has been launched, which enables consumers to compare real-time product prices in large supermarket chains, monitor price changes history and compare prices on the Greek market with the average corresponding products in European Union countries.
THE Kyriakos Mitsotakis, presenting the new digital implementation at a meeting at Maximos Palace focused on enhancing transparency in the market and providing more tools to citizens to address accuracy. The Prime Minister described the platform as another essential step in the fight to contain the cost of living, stressing that consumers are now able to directly compare product prices between the country's major supermarket chains and similar prices in European markets.
The platform was also presented at a press conference in the Ministry of Digital Governance, in the presence of the Ministers of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and Development Takis Theodorikakou, the administrator of the Independent Authority for Market Supervision and Consumer Protection Despinas Tsagaris and the co-founder and CEO of Keyvoto, George Papadimitriou.
The new service is the development of e-Consumer and is available through the posokanei.gov.gr website and application for mobile devices, without requiring an account.
